|  The Basketball Pep Band is directed by Dr. Greg Wheeler . It performs for selected home basketball games in the Smith Spectrum on the USU campus as well as for post-season tournament play in the Big West Conference and NCAA Tournament or National Invitation Tournament, as team performance dictates. Membership in the Pep Band is by audition during early November, and only members of the Aggie Marching Band are eligible to audition.
