The Seventh-Annual Tri-State Band Symposium was another great success. This year, we made the leap to two bands, totaling nearly 140 participants. Under the conductorship of Drs. Paula Holcomb (SUNY Fredonia) and Eric Hammer (University of the Pacific), the Symposium Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band performed challenging programs to high levels. The symposium featured a "sampler" of the USU Bands, including the Wind and Jazz Orchestras; Caine Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion Ensembles; and Clarinet Choir. Growing every year, perhaps we will expand to three bands in the future as part of the weekend.
