A filled state STM image of the Si(100)-2x1 monohydride surface
after a few H atoms being removed by the electrons from the
STM tip at a sample voltage of 5.5 V via the electron stimulated
desorption (ESD) mechanism. The bright features are a single
dangling bond from one side of a monohydride dimer.
