Holiday Party at Cafe Sabor
It was great fun for all those who attended the NSCS holiday party at Cafe Sabor.
Once we got our Santa pinata up, no one could wait to get the candy from inside.
Being the crazy NSCS members we are, we defiled Santa by ripping his legs off.
Then Abbie (Executive VP) decided she wanted to finish him off. Poor Santa!
Halloween Food Drive
NSCS sponsored the Zombie Walk (the Halloween version of the cake walk) for the Halloween food drive.
There were tons of cute kids who came to trick-or-treat. The only entrance fee was the donation of a can of food.
NSCS was one of a few other campus clubs who participated. You can see there were tons of kids who enjoyed all the games and candy.
This box is one of many that were collected during the event.
Induction Ceremony 2005
On September 10, 2005 we kicked off the new school year with the annual induction ceremony. We were lucky enough to have Erin Langley (our scholar ambassador) here from Washington D.C., as well as the NLC V.P. for our region Bret Kampf from UofU, and the V.P. of finance for the NLC Natalie Shupe of our own chapter.
Our new advisor, Dr. William Popendorf, was introduced to the new members. He also spoke and gave inspiration and encouragement to us all. We are grateful to have him as our advisor.
All in all, the induction was a blast. The new members are all great this year and the speakers were inspiring. We would especially like to thank our keynote speaker Noelle Call of the Academic Resource Center for her thoughtful remarks.
