University Resources
Student ID Card. After registration has been completed and fees have been paid, take your billing statement to Taggart Student Center, Room 212 (map), and get your student ID card for a $10.00 fee.
Computers & Email. To set up an email account and use the campus computer labs, a student must be registered and have paid tuition fees. For information on how to use the computer labs and set up your email, talk with employees in any of the labs or visit http://helpdesk.usu.edu/. For more detailed information, call Freda Weyets at (435)797-2398 or visit her in Science Engineering Research Building, Room 301 (map).
Library. If you need help learning how to use the campus libraries or what resources are available, call Wendy Holliday at (435)797-0731. You may also visit the reference desk on the main floor of the Merrill-Cazier Library.
Bookstore. The USU Bookstore is located on the lower level of the Taggart Student Center. All textbooks required and recommended by class instructors are stocked and available for purchase. You may order textbooks online at http://www.bookstore.usu.edu. To do so, click on textbooks, select the term and class, and add the textbook to your shopping cart. Items available at the Bookstore include Aggie clothing, gifts, general books, school supplies, candy, calculators, computers, and software.
Bank. Zion's First National Bank is located in the TSC on the 1st floor. You will need a Student ID ("A") number to open an account. Many other banks are located downtown in Logan.
Post Office. A post office branch is located in the TSC on the 1st floor. Ask at the window for a personal post office box.
Student Health Services. The office is located at 850 East 1200 North (9100 Old Main Hill) and the office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (435)797-1660.
University Offices
OISS. Office of International Students and Scholars is located in the Taggart Student Center (TSC), Room 313 (map). (435)797-1124. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. IMPORTANT: You must check in at the Office of International Students and Scholars as soon as possible after arrival.
ISC. The International Student Council office is located in the TSC, Room 313A. (435)797-2764. ISC is a good source of information for contacting other students from your home country.
IELI. Intensive English Language Institute is located in Old Main, Room 69 (map). (435)797-2081. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
