FHD 6350: CLINICAL APPLICATIONS IN MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPY

Traditional approaches to marriage and family therapy. Focuses on the practice of Marriage and Family Therapy within the context of a systemic framework. Specific foci include, though not limited to: Ethics and Standards; Building Family Resiliency; Systems Therapy of Axis I and Axis II Diagnoses; and Special Topics (e.g., Play Therapy in the Family and Emergent v. Traditional Care). Prerequisistes: Undergraduate course in human sexuality (FHD 3110) or equivalent. (3Sp)
