Backcountry Skiing
Do you have Downhill, Telemark or Snowboarding resort riding skills and want to get out in the backcountry? This is a daylong class for intermediate skilled skiers and snowboarders who want to learn what it takes to go into the backcountry. The course covers the basics of necessary equipment, route finding, basic identification of avalanche terrain, and the meaning of off-piste riding.
