To enable USU and community members to experience the physical and mental benefits of safe, fun outdoor recreation by providing them with excellent equipment, instruction, and resources.
Goals
- Enhance the reputation of the ORC for learning, discovery, and leadership.
- Expand and diversify the revenues of the ORC.
- Adopt new sustainable business models that embrace accountability and motivate innovation and efficiency.
- Foster new partnerships, both internally and externally.
- Increase participation numbers of all ORC programs.
- Provide more internships and student leadership opportunities.
- Obtain necessary permits from public land agencies for all classes and trips.
- Provide more resources and services necessary to experience safe and fun outdoor recreation.
