good laugh by:

sending comics from the Sunday paper or your Far Side
calendar

getting everyone in the family (including the hamster,
dog or ferret!) a clown nose and taking a family photo
that your student can display proudly

checking out the Humor Project at www.humorproject.com

emailing jokes back and forth
-
mailing funny bits from his or her childhood, such
as a Kermit the Frog Pez dispenser (for the student
who wouldn't go anywhere without his Kermit slippers),
a 2nd grade photo or a packet of Pop Rocks, the candy
explosion your student will remember fondly
