Logan, UT: The Safest Metropolitan Area in the Country The Logan area has been ranked as the safest metropolitan area in the country. Morgan Quitno's survey measures municipal rates for six basic crimes: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor-vehicle theft.
