Professional Relations

This committee shall respond to employee grievances in accordance with the policies and procedures of the University. This committee shall also oversee nominations and publicity for the Quarterly Employee Recognition Award.

Employee of the Quarter Award

Nominees must have been employed at Utah State University for a minimum of two years and must be a current professional employee.
Nominations may be made by faculty, staff, or students.
The Professional Employee Award is given quarterly to outstanding professional employees each year.
Each employee selected to receive the award will receive a plaque and gift certificate from the USU Bookstore.
Nominees should excel in the following areas:
- Productivity and Quality of Work
- Dependability and Reliability
- Knowledge and Expertise
Other contributions that make this individual an outstanding employee, such as:
- Creativity and Innovation
- Ability to relate to and get along with others
- Service to USU students, faculty and staff
- Involvement in the Community and other outside Services
