Vice President for Research & Dean of Graduate Studies
McLellan moved to Utah State University in 2011 to become Vice President for Research and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. He is a food scientist by training and a past president of the 28,000 member Institute of Food Technologists.
Janet Anderson
Associate Dean, College of Agriculture
Anderson is the Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture and a Clinical Professor in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science. She is a registered dietitian with a background in food service, sports nutrition, and food safety.
JayDee Gunnell
Horticultural Agent, Salt Lake County
Gunnell is a Utah State University Horticultural Agent and County Extension Director in Salt Lake County. He has extensive background in volunteer management through county oversight of the Master Gardener's Program and is well known for his work in horticulture, wildflowers and water efficient landscaping.
Paul Jakus
Professor, Applied Economics
Jakus is a professor of Applied Economics with a research focus on non-market valuation of environmental goods. He is known for his work in recycling and recreation systems.
Braden Jensen
Graduate Student, Applied Economics
Jensen is a Utah native and graduated in May 2012 with bachelor degrees in Agribusiness, Agriculture Systems Technology, and Spanish. He is currently a Masters student in the department of Applied Economics and is interested in agriculture development.
Mike Kuhns
Department Head, Wildland Resources
Kuhns is the interim department head of Wildland Resources. He is a forestry extension specialist and is well known for his work in Urban Forestry, landscaping tree selection, and wild land-urban interface.
Chris Luecke
Dean of the Quinney College of Natural Resources
Luecke is the newly appointed Dean of the Quinney College of Natural Resources. He was previously head of Watershed Sciences. His background in fisheries includes fish predation and a focus on arctic tundra ponds.
Bruce Miller
Department Head, Applied Sciences Technology & Education
Miller is the head of Applied Sciences, Technology & Education. He has served as the head for approximately 10 years and been faculty member at USU since 1991. His background is in agricultural systems technology.
Sydney Peterson
Chief of Staff, President's Office
Peterson is the President's Chief of Staff and secretary to the USU Board of Trustees. She is a member of the President's Council and has previously served as Assistant Provost.
Lance Seefeldt
Professor, Chemistry & Biochemistry
Seefeldt is a professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry with a background in nitrogen fixation and bioenergy production. His primary work has been in complex metalloenzymes responsible for nitrogen fixation and global energy cycling.
Bruce Bugbee
Professor, Plants Soils & Climate
Bugbee is a Professor of Plants, Soils and Climate. He is known for his work with NASA on food production in space. More recently he has been working collaboratively on production solutions for algal biofuels.
