University Studies & General Education
University Studies courses that carry the USU prefix are required to integrate the disciplines within a field of study such as Social Sciences whereas a breadth course typically focuses on a single discipline such as psychology. Thus, Integrated Life Sciences (USU 1350) includes study of animal, plant, and human life sciences while a Plant Science breadth course focuses primarily on plants.
