STEM Teaching Scholarship
The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Teaching Scholarship is available to Secondary Teaching Majors in the Colleges of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Science. Awards will be given up to $5,000 per academic year.
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- USU Student at a junior or senior level
- Cumulative GPA of 3.50
- Submit letters of support from two faculty members
- Submit a statement of motivation and vision for teaching in a STEM discipline (part of the application form)
Applications for the STEM Teaching Scholarship must be submitted by Friday, June 29, 2012. Awarded recipients of the scholarship will be notified no later than Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The scholarship may be renewed for students who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50.
