* There are 40 extra credit points that can be earned to offset any unanticipated problems by doing the assignments at the textbook publisher's website (& submitting these on time), as per your Course Description. The pop quizzes will be worth extra points, as well. Exactly how many points I assign to the pop quizzes depends on how persistently I see the class making genuine efforts to master the material (& not simply relying on extra credit). The greater these genuine efforts and mastery, the more inclined I am to reward these by increasing the point value of the pop quizzes. Thus, the point value of the pop quizzes will not be known until the end of the semester.

 TOTAL POINTS NEEDED FOR AN “A” = 350 x .93 = 325.5
