USU Health and Neuro Psychology: Combined Program Coursework
Professional and scientific training in the combination of clinical, counseling, and school psychology culminating in award of the PhD. Students must complete a one-year pre-doctoral clinical internship and health psychology students are encouraged to fulfill this requirement in a health facility such as a medical center. Graduates are eligible to sit for licensure in the practice of psychology.
The following courses are taught as part of the health psychology area of emphasis. A core are within the psychology department and the program is supported by numerous faculty from around campus including the following departments: biology; nutrition and food science; health, physical education, and recreation; and communicative disorders.
