How do I enroll?

To apply for the USU Online Undergraduate Psychology program, you must first apply for admission to Utah State University through USU Undergraduate Admissions. After your application for enrollment has been accepted, please follow the guidelines listed on the Psychology Degree Application Process webpage to apply for the Psychology major.

How do I register?
Registration for classes is done through the Registrar's Office and online via Access. For information on the registration process and Access, please visit the USU Registrar's Office webpage.

How quickly can I complete my online degree?
The university requires 120 total credits for a bachelor's degree. As part of this, 40 Upper Division credits and 30 from USU must be included. Also, major, minor, and university studies requirements must be met. Students are permitted to take up to 18 credits per semester, however, 12-15 would be recommended. If the student is employed full time, their academic schedule should be cut down to meet time constraints.
How long do I have to complete each course?
Online course for the Psychology Department are semester-based. This means that online classes begin and end on the same days as campus-based classes. for a semester schedule, please refer to the University's Academic Calendar.
How do I submit assignments and take exams?
The professor of each class controls assignment and exam details. While most courses will use BlackBoard Vista to control assignments and exams, you should contact your professor to learn of his or her individual requirements.

What are the basic technology requirements for this program?
Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Mac OS X or later are needed to access Blackboard Vista. Please note that Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, and Mac OS 9 and below are not supported.
You will need the latest version of a web browser such as; Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Mozilla, etc.
Other software may be required depending on course content, for example, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Flash, SPSS and others.
