Breeding Barn Metal Bldg.  

1. USU is seeking Value Based Bid Proposals from metal building manufacturer’s representatives to design and supply a 40’ x100’ single story metal building with clerestory to serve as an Equine breeding facility. The design and quality of this building shall match the existing stall barn located at the USU Equine Education center.
2.  Design build proposal shall include, but is not limited to, structural steel for roofing and walls, metal roofing, metal wall siding, doors, and windows for a complete project, with an alternate for steel erection.
3. The proposal shall include footing and foundation design only. Footing and foundation concrete work will be bid out in a separate RFP. Design for footings and foundations must be complete one week from the award of the building design to accommodate an aggressive bidding schedule.
4. The Breeding Barn Value Based RFP will be available November 8, 2011. Proposals must submitted to Marsha Howell at the USU Purchasing office no later than 3:00 PM November 21, 2011.

Design Services for USU University Inn Renovation
