Utah SRM Section 2009 Fall Meeting
November 5-6, 2009

Come join the Utah Section for it's Annual Fall Meeting. The meeting will include a number of great presentations dealing with the rangelands of Utah, an Awards Banquet and Silent Auction, Business Meetings for the Section, as well as for the different chapters within Utah, and an opportunity to visit with the many great professionals we have here in the State of Utah.

CALL FOR PAPERS/PRESENTATIONS!

We are currently accepting papers for presentations at the Annual Fall Meeting from all members, including students. Presentations will be 15-18 minutes in length with 2-5 minutes reserved at the end of the presentation for questions. Papers will be scheduled on either November 5th or 6th based on when they are received, space availability, and topic.

To submit a paper, please send the title of the presentation along with a list of all the authors to Chad Reid as soon as possible.

The Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI) and the Society for Range Management (SRM) invite you to the Fourth National Conference on Grazing Lands which will be held at John Ascuaga’s Nugget Hotel in Sparks, NV Dec. 13-16, 2009.  The Conference theme is Grazing Lands; A Winning Hand.  The conference will heighten awareness of the economic and environmental aspects of U.S. grazing lands.  The conference will provide:

 

·         A forum for discussion and exchange of grazing land information and technology.

·         An opportunity to gain the latest information in scientific and applied research.

·         Management methods that are successful in bridging agricultural needs with environmental and social benefits.

·         Presentations from successful producers providing current examples of their success.
