GOOSEBERRY ADMINISTRATIVE SITE - FISHLAKE NATIONAL FOREST

The Utah Natural Resources Field School is held at the Gooseberry Administrative Site on the Fishlake National Forest, located 18 miles out of Salina, Utah. The cabins were originally used to house crews while they were fighting fires, constructing roads, and fulfilling other duties. The students are housed in these same historic cabins, and indoor classes are taught in a large recreation hall. Over the course of the week, much time will be spent in the outdoors visiting the many different plants zones from the high mountains to the deserts.
