Hey everyone! I'm Mike Smith, your Rhetoric Associate (RA) for Sociology 3610: Rural Sociology. A little background information about me: I'm a skinny political science and philosophy major from Rexburg, Idaho and I currently compete for the Utah State University debate team. I'm a big fan of writing and hope to make it a large component of (hopefully) my future career in law. I even publish a weekly political column in the Statesman if you're ever interested in getting your blood pressure up a bit .  This will be an awesome year, and I am excited to work with you on your assignments over the course of the semester.
