| The mission of Hansen Planetarium is to increase the public's appreciation of astronomy and the physical sciences, as well as to enhance their understanding of how science affects their lives. The Hansen Planetarium's long-range goal is to become a major Science Center for Utah and the inter-mountain West. This planetarium reachs out scientifically to the large school-age population of the Great Salt Lake Valley. | The Hill Aerospace Museum opened its doors in May, 1987. The 36-acre site is home to a collection of 57 retired aircraft and other military weapons and artifacts dating from the 1930's to present day. The Museum also features a Uniform Display Room which includes an extensive collection of Air Force flight helmets and flight gear |
