Rocky Mountain NASA Space Grant Consortium Goals


The purpose of the Rocky Mountain NASA Space Grant Consortium is:
"To promote excellence in America's educational system through enhancing and expanding scientific and technological competence."

To achieve this purpose, the consortium has set the following goals:
Provide preparation opportunities for students interested in space-related careers.
Seed and make quality contributions to the exploration and utilization of the solar system and beyond.
Function as part of a communications network of schools, national laboratories, and industrial firms involved in space activities.
Play a role in helping the country use its total human resource base through educational opportunities for its underutilized sectors.
