What is Red Zone?

Red Zone = time between August and the end of November when college students are at the highest risk for rape and sexual assault.

Red Zone Day is SAAVI's way to:

• Raise awareness about rape and sexual assault
• Educate campus about resources and prevention efforts
• Remind USU that we can all do something about this problem! Together we can make a difference!

Who is it for?

Red Zone Day is for everyone! USU students, faculty, & staff are all welcome!

What's going on during Red Zone?

"Take a Bite out of Crime" Donut Eating Contest
Come watch three rounds of fast and furious donut eating! The contest will take place at 10:20am, 11:20am, and 12:20pm at the TSC patio. Winners will get their choice of Aggie gear! Want to be a contestant? Email us at saaviinfo@aggiemail.usu.edu. Spots are going fast!

Giveaway Contest
The annual Red Zone Day Giveaway Contest gives you the opportunity to learn and win! Simply complete an entry form (during the event) by answering questions at various info tables on the patio. Drop off your entry form for a chance to win Aggie apparel or gift certificates to local restaurants, theaters, and stores. Have fun learning about local resources, services, and prevention programs!

R.A.D. Self-Defense Demo - Women Only
Come watch a demonstration of the R.A.D. self-defense program for women. Learn more about what you can do to protect yourself and how to get involved with R.A.D. at USU. Door prizes will be given away!

Time & Place: 12:30pm & 1:30pm, TSC 336 (Senate Chambers)

One-in-Four Presentation - Men Only
If you had a female friend come to you for help after she had been raped, would you know what to say or do? Many women confide in a trusted male friend after sexual assault. Watch One-in-Four and learn more about what you can do to make a difference for someone else, and what you can do to stop rape at Utah State! Door prizes will be given away!
