USU's Utah Climate Center and the Department of Plants, Soils and Climate host the first of two climate seminars for the month of June. All are invited.

Amber Stokes, doctoral student of Edmund Brodie, will present "Presence and Function of Tetrodotoxin in Terrestrial Vertebrates and Invertebrates" on 24 June 2013 at 9:00am in BNR 202a.


Refreshments will be served at the Logan campus at 8:45am.

  11:30 AM Climate Seminar: "The Receding Arctic," Jin-Ho Yoon, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
USU's Utah Climate Center and the Department of Plants, Soils and Climate host guest speaker Jin-Ho Yoon of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington. Dr. Yoon will discuss the trend of receding Arctic ice and its causes. All are invited.

  All Day 2013 Utah Botanical Foray
A botanical foray geared at learning more about the plant and fungal life in parts of the state not frequently visited. This year we will be in the Grouse Creek & Raft River Mountains (as well as the surrounding deserts). This is a 4 day event, and no experience is needed. More information can be obtained at the Intermountain Herbarium’s website.
