SOAR Options and Dates
Spring Soar
Spring SOAR is a concise, single-day orientation option for new students who will begin school during the spring semester. It has been designed to give a thorough orientation to the University while making the most of your time on campus. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and meet other incoming students.
A-Team facilitators will be on hand to assist you in the orientation and registration process. You will meet with your academic advisor and have a chance to create or modify your semester schedule while learning about important policies and procedures of Utah State University.
Length: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (depending on the length of your advising and registration session)
Dates: November 9 (there are additional dates for undeclared students on December 10 and January 6--it is recommended that you attend the earliest date that works with your schedule)
Cost: $40. This includes your student I.D. card, lunch, and the SOAR informational materials. The SOAR fee will be taken out of your University Deposit. The remaining balance will be in your student account when you pay tuition and/or fees.
