SOAR Options and Dates

Undeclared SOAR

Undeclared SOAR dates are held at the end of the summer in an effort to provide SOAR to undeclared students who are unable to attend an earlier session, or who decided late in the summer that they are going to attend Utah State. Undeclared students are encouraged to attend a traditional SOAR session earlier in the summer if they are available, since undeclared advisors will be on hand to help with academic advising and registration at those SOAR sessions as well.

Undeclared SOAR is a concise, focused orientation option for new students who have not yet selected a major. Academic advisors from our Undeclared Advising Office will be on hand to advise you. Since undeclared SOAR days are small and are held at the end of the summer, you will receive more attention specific to your undeclared status and help finding classes. There are no workshops and information tables, but A-Team facilitators will be on hand to assist you in the orientation and registration process.

There is no formal parent orientation on Undeclared SOAR dates.

Length: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (depending on the length of your advising and registration session)

Dates: August 16 and August 19, 2010
