Summer SOAR
There are two options for SOAR for students planning on beginning classes Summer 2012: Summer SOAR and Online SOAR.
Summer SOAR is a concise, single-day orientation option for new students who will begin school during the summer semester. It has been designed to give a thorough orientation to the University while making the most of your time on campus. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and meet other incoming students.
Registration is currently closed

Online SOAR
Online SOAR is available for students not able to attend our on campus session. If you select SOAR Online as you sign up for SOAR (submit your Enrollment Confirmation), the link will be sent to the e-mail account you specify in late March.
The online orientation provides the information you will need before coming to Utah State. You will email your academic advisor as you complete SOAR Online, and he or she will write back to you and tell you what classes to take. You can then register for classes once your registration eligibility date arrives (this will be given to you in the same email as the SOAR Online link).
Once you arrive on campus at the beginning of your semester, you can pick up your SOAR packet in the USU Card Office, Taggart Student Center room 212. It will include the following:
- Student Handbook/Planner
- Voucher for your student ID card ($15 value, your ID card will cost $15 without this)
- Other helpful information
