New Transfer Student Checklist
Transfer students with more than 24 credits (not including AP or concurrent enrollment) are not required to complete SOAR or pay the university deposit. Transfer students have the option of attending a free 1/2 day Transfer Preparation program designed to give concise and relevant information about Utah State University
All transfer students should complete the following checklist.
Transfer Checklist
- Make an appointment with your academic advisor This is mandatory. You must meet with your advisor before you can register for classes.
- Sign up for your University e-mail account ( Login to Access and click on Personal Information and then Aggiemail)
- Reserve housing using http://www.housing.usu.edu, http://www.trueaggie.com,
http://www.hjnews.com, http://www.utahcollegehousing.com - Complete and return all financial aid materials (FAFSA)
- Purchase your Utah State gear and textbooks (click on textbooks)
- Check out parking and shuttle options
- Apply for a job
- Find a club to join
- Have your picture taken and set up USU ID card in TSC Room 212
- Register for classes (view schedule of classes and login to Access)
- Pay tuition and fees by the deadline (unpaid classes are dropped on the deadline)
