Soil Water Flux Determination
Heat flux from a line source has been shown to correlate well with soil water flux through temperature measurements surrounding the heating source. We have developed a Penta-needle Heat Pulse Probe (PHPP)that provides soil thermal property measurements and estimates of soil water flux.
