Eric Reither is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology, Social Work & Anthropology. He joined the department at Utah State University in the fall of 2005. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005 with emphases in demography and medical sociology. Other areas of expertise include social epidemiology and quantitative research methods.
Eric's research interests revolve around human morbidity and mortality, with a current focus on the etiology and consequences of the obesity pandemic.
