Job Summary • Create external and internal training materials in various formats and deliveries: web-based training, presentations, product demos, webinars, written training materials • Use the following tools for writing and publishing documents: Captivate, Global Crossing, Author-it, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, RightNow • Address concisely the information needs of the applicable audience, being clear and accurate • Create training materials that reflect a clear understanding of products and reflect best practices of instructional design (ADDIE) and adult learning methodologies • Conform to department standards of formatting, information design, and usability • Demonstrate and maintain concrete knowledge of assigned 3M HIS products. • Coordinate effective training sessions covering assigned products. • Analyze and summarize training effectiveness through trainee feedback. • Participate on the cross-functional teams responsible for product development, maintaining open communication on training needs and priorities. • Coordinate with the technical writing team to deliver a comprehensive set of user education materials to clients. • Foster a respectful, cooperative work environment
