For all USU students who are participating on a USU study abroad program in an international destination, or for those international exchange students studying at Utah State..., The Study Abroad Director will be the initial contact person responsible for coordinating a response to an emergency.
NOTE: In case of an emergency, the Utah State Study Abroad Emergency Response Plan provides a guideline of how to proceed, and at what point a meeting of the Emergency Response Committee will be called. When contacted, t he USU Police will notify the Study Abroad Director or another member of the Emergency Response Committee to coordinate a response to the emergency situation.
