Study Abroad Programs
Study Abroad opportunities at USU are affordable! USU has a varied menu of program offerings. With our partner consortium International Student Exchange Programs (ISEP) or our partner institutions, most program fees are based on the exchange model. A USU student exchanges places with an incoming exchange student from a partner university abroad. Exchange program costs are based on what it costs to study at USU for a semester or academic year of study. With the more competitive locations, affiliate providers, or short/term summer programs, pricing will vary based on direct program costs. Click here for a summary of all our partner programs.

All programs ( except certain volunteer programs), earn credits toward an academic degree at USU. Financial aid and scholarships apply nearly 100% of the time. See our scholarship sheet for more information regarding additional scholarships just for Study Abroad. Financial Information is available in the how to begin section of the site.
Interested in a short-term study period? Consider summer programs which run 4-8 weeks. Earn USU credit on faculty-led programs, or earn transfer credit on most other programs.
