Prevention/Education
USU Student Wellness Center, Student Health & Wellness Center. 119, (435) 797-1660: Informational resource. Library and educators provide health and wellness information and one-on-one educational opportunities. An Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug educational class is taught by peers out of the facility and can be taken by any interested student. All services are free excluding a small fee for the educational class. Drop by to access our resources or call in advance for an appointment with one of our professional staff.
USU Student Health Center, Student Health & Wellness Center, (435) 797-1660: Undergraduates with 7 or more and graduate students with 3 or more credits can access this service free except for certain services. Ask for more specific charge information at their desk. Doctors, nurses, health educator, and pharmacy are all available. They are open most of the day but call for hours and to schedule appointments.
Treatment
Bear River Health Department Division of Substance Abuse, 655 East 1300 North, Logan, (435) 792-6500 Provides assessment and counseling for people struggling with substance abuse problems. Also teaches educational classes about alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Call for an appointment.
Comprehensive Treatment Clinic, 40 West Cache Valley Blvd, Building 10A, Logan,(435) 787-2272 Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM-5:00 PM: Initial assessment and first appointment is $175.00. Outpatient services only. Accepts most insurance (except United Health Care, BCBS, Value Care Plan, or Medicare/Medicaid). Spanish speaking services available on limited request.
Family Institute of Northern Utah. 965 South 100 West Suite 203, Logan, (435) 752-1976. Hours: Mon-Thurs 11:00 AM-6:00 PM: Outpatient services, accepts most insurances, Spanish speaking services available.
USU Psychology Community Clinic. Emma Eccles Jones Education Bldg. Logan, (435) 797-3401, Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-5:00 PM: Monday and Wednesdays open until 8:00 PM. Outpatient services on a sliding fee scale.
Bear River Mental Health. 90 East 200 North, Logan,(435) 752-0750, Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00 AM-6:00 PM Fri 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Outpatient services. Accepts most insurances and Medicaid.
Counseling and Self-help
Alcoholics Anonymous, 240 N 100 E, (435) 755-7772: 12-Step group meeting. Attendance is anonymous, provides group support, and steps to work towards recovery. Free. Call for meeting time schedules.
USU Counseling Center, Taggart Student Center, Rm. 306, (435) 797-1012: Undergraduates with 7 or more and graduate students with 3 or more credits can access this service for up to 10 sessions free. After filling out a Personal Data Sheet that provides contact and background information, the student is set up for an intake appointment with a therapist. The student is then set up with a permanent therapist for the remainder of the time they are with the Counseling Center. Services are strictly confidential. Sexual Assault Resources
CAPSA (Community Abuse Prevention Services Agency), Logan, (435) 753-2500: Provides emergency support and advocacy for victims of physical and sexual assault. Also assists victims after the fact. Call for more information.
SAVVI (Sexual Assault - Anti Violence Information ) Utah State University Student Health and Wellness Center, (435) 797-7273 (Hotline): Provides education, prevention and intervention services including emergency support and advocacy for victims of physical and sexual assault who are students at Utah State University. Call (435) 797-1510 for more information.

Planned Parenthood, 550 N Main Ste 117, Logan, (435) 753-0724: Provides confidential consultation, education, and medical care for contraceptive use and sexually transmitted diseases. Call for an appointment.
USU Disability Resource Center, University Inn Rm 101, (435) 797-2444: Students who have hearing, vision, mobility, and/or learning disabilities can access this support/service for assessment, testing and other services. USU Academic Resource Center, Taggart Student Center, Rm. 305, (435) 797-1128: Help with academic challenges, study and testing skills can be found in this department. They can direct you to the appropriate area for any type of academic help, including tutors and workshops to help you excel academically. Call or walk in to see what they are about.

USU Financial Aid, Taggart Student Center, Rm 106,(435) 797-0173: Federal financial aid, special scholarships, and employment for students are services received from this office. Counselors can help you find the right forms and procedures to help you stay in school. Walk in to get forms or call to schedule an appointment with a counselor.
