***CONGRATULATIONS***
We are pleased to announce the arrival of one more new
swing dancer, the daughter of Isaac (Zeek) and
Stephanie Ashby!  Savannah Lynn Ashby was born last
week at 16 inches long and 6 lbs 9 oz.  She has bright
blue eyes and is darling.  If you want to send your
congratulations, you can e-mail swingusu and we'll
relay the message.

***IMPORTANT***
Due to the challenges of room scheduling, Swing Club
is going to be held Fridays of each week.  Unless we
can find an alternative, plan on having Fall Semester
Club Friday Nights, 7:00 - 9:30 pm in HPER room 102
(the main floor).  Remember, the first 2 weeks are
FREE, so bring as many friends as possible.

Last thing, if you are interested in joining a
committee, please let us know what you are interested
in doing and we'll be happy to let you in!

Hello you summer swingers!

First, the last day of summer club is this Thursday
from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with the usual lesson for the
first hour. And club will be outside the University
Inn like it was the last couple of weeks, which is
actually kind of a fun place to do club.

We are also having a t-shirt design contest for any
and all interested to help out. You can submit your
design by email (by Thurs.) or bring it to club on
Thursday. We want to get these shirts in the oven as
soon as possible so we can start handing them out
asap!

August the 29th, the first Wednesday of the school
year, is the Week of Welcome 'Day on the Quad'. We
need some help with manning our booth and showing off
some sweet dance moves to all the passerbyes. So check
your schedules and see when you can 'swing' by! Ha,
I'm so punny  :)

Clubs this semester we'll be dancin in HPER Bld. 102
on fridays from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Plan on having a
fantasic time. Frist two weeks free!

We are also having a t-shit design contest. Start your
drawin all sumbmission are now due on friday at swing
club. 

Celrate America Show is on September 5th.  Held in the
USU Ballroom at 8:00, the evening will include a big
band show and dancing with the Larry Smith Orchestra.

for the public show with dinner is $42.50 per ticket,
but students will have their own night (no dinner -
but everything else will be the same) for only $7.00!
