SPP/APR Parent Involvement Consortium

Project Director: John Copenhaver

TAESE has contracts with several States to assist in collecting and analyzing data for Part B Indicator #8 and Part C Indicator #4 (Parent Involvement). The following States are participating with TAESE:
  • Montana
  • South Dakota
  • Nebraska
  • District of Columbia
  • New Mexico
TAESE provides sample parent surveys to the State Education Agencies, suggests a sampling plan, approves the plan with OSEP, and assists with the collection and analysis of the data. TAESE will meet with the State Special Education Advisory Panel to discuss the parent survey data. These data are used in the Annual Performance Report submitted by states to OSEP each year.
