Arizona — Technical Assistance
TAESE is participating as a partner with the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) in building an online data
management system that will aid educators, administrators, and ADE officials in using data driven information
to boost student performance. The web based service will provide real time performance/assessment/intervention
documentation on students and classes that can be used to target improvement strategies for all learners.
Curriculum based measurement information in reading, mathematics, and writing will be collected in grades K-12 for
the participants in Response to Intervention (RTI) training.
Montana — Technical Assistance on State Data Collection
TAESE is working with the Montana's Office of Public Instruction, Measured Progress, WestEd, Children's Progress,
the MT Technical Advisory Committee, and the MT Special Education Advisory Committee to identify students in need
of modified achievement standards and develop valid assessments to create clear and appropriate guidelines for IEP
in determining which students should be assessed.
New Mexico — Level 3 Year 2 School Districts
TAESE is assisting New Mexico by providing technical assistance for professional development, Special Education
Technical Assistance Teams (SETAT), membership in the Assessment System for K-12 (ASK-12) Network, and preparation
of training documents for Local Education Agencies and the NMPED.
