The New Faculty Teaching Academy fosters instructional excellence and launches the careers of new faculty members at Utah State University. Sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, the New Faculty Teaching Academy is designed for all new faculty members to support their transition into the multiple roles that faculty members assume at a modern, comprehensive, research intensive, student-centered land-grant university.

The academy is intended to offer the background, knowledge and skills to be a successful university instructor. It will provide feedback, coaching and mentoring on teaching performance in a formative context that is supportive, encouraging and focused on skills development. This program is intended to provide a foundation for success in this important domain of responsibilities as a member of the university faculty.
