In an exclusive ranking, Utah State University landed the No. 13 spot in the Top 25 Safest Colleges in America. The classification comes from The Daily Beast, a news Web site viewed by millions daily. The Daily Beast conducted a survey to determine how colleges stack up against each other safety-wise.
“For years Morgan Quitno Press, a research and publishing company, has ranked Logan, Utah, as one of the safest metropolitan areas in the county. No surprise then that Logan’s Utah State is one of the nation’s safest schools,” the Internet news site wrote about USU’s placement.
