The flags should fly at half-staff at all state facilities from sunrise to sunset Oct. 11, the date of Agent Ivie’s memorial service.
The service is open to the public and begins at 11 a.m. at the UCCU Events Center at Utah Valley University in Orem.
Gov. Herbert issued the following statement:
The State of Utah mourns the loss of one of her brave sons. Nicholas Ivie chose a life of service and sacrifice, even at great personal risk.
