Park City is hosting the Sundance Film festival and Utah State University’s Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is benefitting from the activity.

In conjunction with support from a sponsorship by Acura, “The History of the Eagles, Part 1” was presented, and Swaner EcoCenter Executive Director Jon Paulding was on hand for the opening.

In addition, Acura is sponsoring a charity auction that directly benefits Swaner.

Acura launched an online “Eagles Guitar Auction” Jan. 19 that features an acoustic guitar autographed by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter.

Bids on the guitar can be placed online via Ebay.

The auction runs until 5 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29.
