CODE BLUE Emergency Alert System Test

The Campus Safety office sends this message to all Utah State University faculty and staff:

On Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Utah State University Emergency Management will conduct a test of the USU CODE BLUE Emergency Alert System. Please make sure you are signed up to receive critical emergency information in a timely manner in the event of a major crisis on campus. 

To sign up:

  • log into USU Access (www.access.usu.edu)
  • select “Personal Information”
  • select “View/Update CODE BLUE Emergency Alert Phone Numbers”
  • enter up to five voice and text message numbers (one text number only)

Helpful Hints

The test notification will come from telephone number (435) 797-7622.  Please program this telephone number into the phones you entered when you signed up. You should label it: USU CODE BLUE Emergency Alert.

In addition, be sure to share the test date and time with the individuals whose telephone numbers you entered when you signed up (parents, spouses, roommates, etc.).
