A long-standing tradition in Cache Valley, the Utah Agricultural Products BBQ, will be held at its new location, the Craig Aston Park, from 3-5 p.m. prior to the Utah State University football game Oct. 12. Craig Aston Park is located at approximately 1350 N. 800 East.

Sponsored by Utah’s Own, the BBQ features agricultural products produced in Utah, including corn, beef, dairy, turkey, pork, onion rings, lamb and more.

The entry cost for an adult is $10 for individuals 11 and older. Cost for children 10 years and younger is $5. All proceeds from the event support scholarships for College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences students at Utah State University.

Tickets can be purchased prior to the event by calling the USU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-888-USTATE-1. If ticket purchasers are picking up their tickets the day of the event, they need to collect their tickets at the barbecue’s will call, not the stadium’s will call office. The BBQ will call table is located at the entrance gate at the BBQ site. Day-of tickets can also be purchased at that location.

Parking for the event is available at three different locations, including at the corner of 1400 N.  800 East across from Aggie Station; across from the softball fields at approximately 1350 N. 800 East; and at the ASTE building at approximately 1425 N. 800 E. Similar to past years, a shuttle will pick up and drop off from the parking lot near the softball fields.

Media members who would like to attend should coordinate with Tiffany Adams to obtain a wristband.

More information about the event is available online.
