Utah State [University] head volleyball coach Grayson DuBose will hold two summer camps, including a team camp from Wednesday, June 25, through Saturday, June 28, and an individual skills camp for girls from Monday, July 21, through Thursday, July 24, on the Utah State campus in Logan.
The team camp is designed to give coaches and players the opportunity to work together before the start of their high school seasons. Campers will be able to play in at least seven matches, spend valuable time with their teammates, play against teams they probably wouldn't see in their high school seasons, as well as have the chance to play in Utah State University facilities and check out the beautiful USU campus.
DuBose, along with current USU student-athletes, will conduct the individual skills camp. The four-day, three-night camp is designed to increase the volleyball skills for each camper. Skill development takes place in a game-like and competitive setting. The campers will receive excellent instruction from qualified coaches who will all use the same methods of training. The environment will be competitive and will allow for maximum learning.
This camp will have an impact on girls who want to improve their skills no matter their current level and it will give them the opportunity to learn the whole game.
DuBose, who was the Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2012, and a finalist for the 2010 Collegiate Volleyball Update National Coach of the Year, has coached two All-Americans, two WAC Freshmen of the Year, 22 all-conference honorees and 58 academic all-conference recipients during his eight years at USU.
