Utah State University’s Grace Graham is one of 38 women worldwide to receive the prestigious Brooke Owens Fellowship

For the 2019 fellowship, over 250 applications were submitted from 13 different countries. Graham is the first woman from Utah State to receive this fellowship.

“The fellowship has opened the door for me to be recognized in the aerospace industry, kick start my career with an incredible first internship and offers the best support network of cohorts and mentors anyone could dream of,” said Graham.

The Brooke Owens Fellowship is a paid internship for undergraduate women studying aerospace engineering. The applicants are chosen based on their talent, experience, creativity and commitment to service.

Graham will be working in the Navigation and Geopositioning Systems Department at The Aerospace Corporation in California this summer.

Graham is a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering with an aerospace emphasis.
