Aggie Blue Bikes

With the onset of the industrial revolution, the mass production of petroleum operated vehicles, and the socialized frontier ethic common among millions of Americans, our earth's ecosystems and living spaces diminish and suffer. Global warming, climate change, diminishing quality of life, etc. are all byproducts of this change. Some accept these changes with little thought, thinking nothing of those who follow after them or their quality of life.

On September 2, 2005, Aggie Blue Bikes came into existence. With nine bikes and one employee, we set out to help in the battle against the debilitating changes previously mentioned. Now with 50+ bikes, four employees, and a generous grant, Aggie Blue Bikes makes a large impact in our world through education, bicycle checkouts, and advocacy. We know that we all have the ability to make positive change in our communities and in the world around us. The questions that spur personal change can be difficult but we know one thing is for sure, BIKES ARE THE ANSWER!
