Whether you are a public land manager, a city recreation planner, a non-profit director, an educator, or just a concerned member of the community, the Utah Conservation Corps (UCC) represents a way to "get things done" through a national community service program.

The UCC is currently looking for potential projects including, but not limited to, trail building, trail maintenance, constructing and maintaining fence, environmental education, fuels reduction, historical building maintenance, noxious weed removal, habitat restoration, disaster relief, literacy tutoring, educational presentations, water monitoring, and habitat restoration.

UCC AmeriCorps members are available to complete projects from April through late October of every year. The majority of conservation projects take place in the summer months. Please call Dave Bastian at (435)797-0964 ext 3) to check the availability of crews.

How much does the UCC charge?

The UCC charges $2,850 (or $3,100 for projects requiring extensive technical skills) per crew of 4 per week in exchange for their services. The UCC will guarantee a crew of four crew members for this rate. These figures reflect the necessary funds the UCC needs to generate for the cash match of its AmeriCorps grant.
