While Utah State University’s research prowess related to Alzheimer’s has received ample media attention of late the places and people that make up the heart and soul of USU in Logan have also received notoriety. Not only has Logan been named as one of the “Best places to Retire” by CNN Money, it was more recently named the fourth “Best Places to Live” in the Sept./Oct. 2009 AARP’s The Magazine.

 

Logan as the choice to stay and play was also highlighted by KSL Channel 5 news in a two-minute segment, including a shout out to Aggie Ice Cream.

 

USU’s very own “Pizza Lady,” Yasuko Brown, was also featured on KSL as winner of this week’s “High 5” award.

 

“If you’ve had a bad day, you just come down here and she makes your day better,” said USU student Hanah Gillman in the 3:40 minute broadcast clip .
