Golden Corral, located at 2044 N. Main Street, Logan, Utah, will host a benefit dinner Thursday, Aug 16, from 3–8 p.m. in remembrance of Kristopher Jude King, who passed away Aug. 10.

King, a Brooklyn, N.Y., native, was majoring in vocal performance in the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University while double minoring in business management and human resources.

Having been employed at Golden Corral, the restaurant will donate ten percent of the profits during the benefit dinner to King’s family. The employees will also donate 100 percent of their tips during the benefit to King’s family.

Those who would like to make contributions to the King family can do so by visiting the Caine College of the Arts Box Office in room 139-B of the Chance Fine Arts Center on USU’s Logan campus, open Mon.–Fri. 9 a.m. to noon. Donations can also be made by calling the Box Office at 465-797-8022.
